Meet Me on Monday – Best food dish to Breakfast for dinner

Thanks for joining in this week’s MMoM little Q&A session hosted by the lovely Java.  Here are my responses to her questions.

1. What is the best dish you can make?   Chilli. I’m the type of cook who doesn’t measure my spices – I just season to taste. So, if you ask me for my recipe, then I’d have to give you the basics and you’re on your own. Nope, I’m not throwing you under the bus. Spices are a personal preference is all.

2. How often do you change your sheets?   Not as often as most, but do on a case by case base. We take our showers in the evening so this is a huge help to keeping the bedding cleaner when we snuggle between the sheets than if we were only morning bathers.

3. What is the longest car trip you have ever taken?  We drove from Knoxville, Tennessee to Bar Harbor, Maine. Nearly 1200 miles and roughly 20 plus hours (a lot of plus hours) on the road

4. What is your favorite fruit?  Mmm, I love home-grown yellow delicious apples the best! The sweet, juicy goodness from this variety makes my taste buds sing.

5. Would you rather have breakfast for dinner or dinner for breakfast?  I definitely prefer breakfast for dinner. A stack of pancakes served with maple syrup, a side of sausage, and fresh hot coffee is hard to beat!

  1. @Kalea_Kane…thank you for stopping by. Mmm, yeah the only way to have pancakes is with sausage on the side. Don’t you just love to drag your sausage through the maple syrup? So tasty!

  3. One of the only ways I’ll eat pancakes is with sausage on the side. A great breakfast or dinner. 🙂 Have a beautiful day!

  4. Sherri, it’s good to have another Tennessee gal following. Much of my cooking is done this way – no measuring spoons. I use my hand, just like my mother, MIL, and grandma.

  8. Hi Cathy. My list is short and sweet. Best dish is a tie between my pretzel jello Salad and 3-bean salad. I change my sheets once a week. We don’t travel by car much, so our longest trip was to Disneyland. We didn’t even get out of California. My favorite fruit is a banana. Eat one every day. And since breakfast is my favorite meal, I’d choise breakfast for dinner.
