I interrupt the regular program to bring you this special announcement…. I preëmpt all routine posts to bring you my contributions to this month’s largest blogging event. Don’t worry, normal posting will resume next month like clock work (I hope). Meanwhile, I invite you to stick around to enjoy the #AprilA2Z fun!
Good-morning, kittens & dawgs! This month we spent a lot of time in the mountains of western North Carolina and I tripped across this picturesque train depot in Old Fort.

Do you like hearing the sound of a train in the distance? Would you like to sleep or take a trip on a train? Do you think trains are mysterious, adventurous, romantic, or what?
Now, follow me while I visit these triumphant bloggers who have shown a lot of tenacity taking part in this sometimes tiresome A2Z blogging challenge!

Big Doobie Brothers fan back in the day. Until Michael McDonald ruined them.
My late husband loved trains. I wish we could have taken a long train trip. Maybe I will someday. Just for him! We live very close to a train track. Unfortunately I no longer hear them. They have just become part of the background
Love the Doobies, love the song, and definitely love traveling on trains! I’ve slept on many a train!! Good memories, Cathy.
I’ve never done much train travel but I think it would be cool. I’d like to take that luxury train trip across western Canada.

We love trains. Bill still has his set from childhood. It is a big old set. He knows a lot of train songs, too. He can make his guitar sound like one!
