Laughs for the soon-to-be newlyweds

I interrupt my long pause in this weekly series to bring to you a special edition of Friday Funnies as we celebrate our son’s wedding tomorrow.  Cheers, these laughs are for you dear boy and your sweet bride!

They have been maxed out for months bringing things together for the big event, so I expected both will have a good ball afterwards.

Tomorrow, I announce the winner in my recent James Bond Theme Song BOTB series, Another Way To Die, probably a little later than usual to allow time for anyone who sneaks in today to cast a vote.  😉 As for me, I’m completely MIA in Blogosphere all weekend, including today. This is CAAC signing off, have a funtastic Friday, dear friends! X💋X💋, Cathy

  1. Congratulations to your son and his bride! 🎉 No wonder you’ve been busy elsewhere, Cathy. Here’s hoping all goes smoothly on the big day.

  2. What a wonderful day you’re going to have tomorrow. Congratulations to your son and his bride. You’ll be teary eyed. I can see it now.

Love all the funnies, but I’m guessing he’ll have a wonderful marriage as you and DH have. After all he’s watched what a real marriage looks like.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Cathy. Love and hugs. ♥

  3. Hi, Cathy!

I have come in search of Friday Sillies, dear friend….. and I have found them.

Congratulations to the soon-to-be newlyweds. Just think. Your son went from little boy tugging your apron to a man who towers over you, and now he is about to marry. I share your joy in this moment and wish the couple happiness, peace, health and prosperity in the years ahead.

Ha! You posted some funny cartoons, Cathy. The first one hits the nail on the head. Over the years, Mrs. Shady and I worked out a formula for a successful, long-lasting marriage. She cracks the whip and I obey. 🙂 The second Silly, with the groom showing up at the altar in a welding suit, is a hoot. Perhaps it’s his way of cementing their relationship. 🙂 Yessum, I imagine a wedding of any significant size takes an enormous amount of planning and stamina on the part of both bride and groom. When the big day has finally come and gone, it’s time for tears. However, let us hope they are tears of joy and that they experience “a good kind of tired.” Awww… look at those cute pups trying to disrupt the wedding by latching onto the bride’s train! They’re afraid the bride is trying to steal their pet human and they’re not having it. BINGO! on the last meme, another that rings with truth and wisdom.

I’m curious as a Cathy to see which mewsic act won your latest band battle. I’ll be over tamale to find out. Once again, congratulations to your son and his very special someone. May they enjoy many years of health and happiness ahead!
