I Can See Clearly #WW

Hello kittens & dawgs! June through August are slow months in Blogosphere, so I decided to halt my Featured Photographer spotlight. Also, I am scaling back on my blogging production this summer. I am not taking a complete break yet. That may come later in the summer, but for now I’m casually visiting other blog sites ~ reading posts & leaving comments and putting together short posts. This is my time to relax. I can see clearly now!

I’m debating on whether or not to keep the linky going this summer. What do you think, should I keep it or let it go?

Thank you for stopping by, I’ll be seeing you soon!

Have a fototastic day!

  1. I do stop my coffee chat over the summer months — simply because it is too busy with the 3 kids home all day. but also it gives me time to think up some new topics!! I pretty much at the end of my thought list this year, so the timing is perfect. But I still do WW for sure, because I will take soooo many more pictures in the summer, than I did in the winter. And posting a pic, is a pretty easy post to put together.

that’s a gorgeous scene! and one of my all time favourite songs too. 🙂

  2. Oh well, I may not take a break, but I will slow down quite a bit during July 1 thru the 11th because I’m babysitting my grandson then, and I can hardly wait. I know what you mean, but WW is rather busy even though it does slow down. Maybe you should drop some others that’s not so busy until it picks up again. One thing I have learned though even if you’re not going to put up a Post, put up one sentence so people don’t STOP coming back… like on vacation see you such an such a date. So you don’t lose any following. HUGS

    1. Marie, I’m not stepping completely away from blogging this summer or at least not yet. I hope by the end of summer that we can take a vacation even if it’s just hanging around our area. That’s fun to do, too. You don’t have to break the piggy bank to have a little fun, right? Anywho, You’re so right short posts to keep everyone in the loop as to what’s going on with you will keep you from losing folks, but I know my loyalist followers can always be found. 😉

  3. I can understand why you would like to take a little break. I am planning my break for October into November. Yeah, I know, blog traffic is high then, but how can you help take care of a toddler after your daughter has a new baby and blog at the same time?

    1. Danielle, I can’t imagine to trying to blog and take care of a toddler. lol Oh well…it’s important for everyone to step away from doing the same ole thing to get their charge.

    1. Patrick, computer time can be squeezed in when it’s convenient for you, but I’m with you there are other things to do during the summer instead of being at your computer for hours on end. Have a summertastic time!

  4. Even if the blog traffic is slower in the summer than at other times of the year, I think it is still a good idea to be quasi-active with the Linky. My blogging activity does not drop off that much over the summer, for example.

    1. Noah, interesting point. I will keep the linky going for the rest of this month to see what kind of traffic it gathers. Traffic does fall off on my end, but I’m ok with that because I know people are out enjoying life other than staying indoors in front of their computers and that’s a good thing.

        1. Noah, yes nights and rainy days would be an excellent time to blog during the summer. Of course, I’m not walking away from Blogosphere. I going to put together short, sweet posts.
