Do I even need to report the outcome of my last battle? If you’ve been following comments or at the very least read how others voted then you probably won’t be surprised when I tell you that Gloria Estefan left Connie Francis in the dust.
Did I see this coming? Maybe. I knew most of you aren’t into the soft breathy female vocals. A quality that I love. That’s the sound of Connie Francis. I liked how Birgit described her version as sounding like a memory. Isn’t that beauty? I haven’t voted in any of my battles in a long time. I meant to do so last month but forgot about my plans. I give my vote to Connie Francis.
One more time, let’s here it for the winner, Gloria Estefan!

I agree Connie’s voice is beautiful. I think you’re right and while I am a fan of Gloria’s that might have been the deciding factor is this battle for most.
