Please forgive me. Yesterday I felt certain that I wouldn’t contribute any more posts this week other than what’s already set in motion until I realized I had a Procreate sketch I made for today that I entitled, Hello March!
This no doubt will be my last not-so-Wordless Wednesday share for a while unless I forget something else. Okay, I try to stick to the program which is getting my A2Z posts done. Stay focused, Cath!
My linky party is open to all regardless of what kind of post you have as long as you’re a personal blogger. ALL commercial websites, advertisers, or other spammy, non-fun links are subjected to immediate termination by the linky hostess!
[tweetthis]I linked up with Curious as a Cathy & I invite you to join the party! #WW #abcwednesday #scribblepicnic @a_dotty_hill [/tweetthis]
You still have to time to cast your vote in my March 1st BoTB (deadline tomorrow at noon EST) and if you’ve already done so check back on Friday to see if your pick is named the winner!

Dear Cathy,
Missing you on #WW, but I guess you have more important things at this point of time like A-Z. I’m giving it a skip this year after attempting it for two years in a row. Work and other things beckon. 🙂
That’s a pretty sketch. Is that you lolling around in the outdoorsy March.
Love and cheer always
Natasha
Natasha,
I miss being a part of my normal blog hops but I have to cut back to get the A2Z posts done. I’m not one for composing my posts daily. I like feeling more in control which leads to a less stressful blogfest for me in the end. I try to avoid being out in the wind when possible because March winds can be nippy and right now tree pollen is high, so indoors is the best place for me. 🙂
I hear you Cathy. Smart thing to do. All the best for A-Z. D share your posts with me. Would love to read them. Enjoy your indoorsy
time. <3
Natasha,
I’m on the home stretch to getting my A-Z sketches done with only more to complete. It’s going to be tight to finish up the last few posts before the weekend gets here but I figure if I’m this close then it shouldn’t be such a struggle. I hope you find time to stop in during April to see how I’m doing. I can’t believe we’re at the end of March so soon.
Will surely do. Shine on Cathy♥️
I enjoy your sketches. Glad to hear you’ll be bringing them back for April!
Red,
I dragged my feet on doing this forever but then the bug hit me and I knew I had to answer the call to join again this year. lol
That is one adorable sketch – you got the movement, her hair flowing and her “attitude” …good job!
Thanks, Sandy! 😉
Love the drawing! She is smartly dressed with a nice hat. I have to say, if she is where I live you would need to add snow, sleet and freezing rain:)
Birgit,
I drew her with a northern city in mind but someplace in Canada, nope! I knew just because it’s March that point means very little with the weather conditions in your parts that screams “Winter is STILL here!” 🙂 Thanks for visiting!
That’s an adorable drawing! A+++.
Linda,
Look at that I got an A+++! That might be my best grade ever!! Thanks for that shot in the arm!;)
March is welcome, it always seems like a playful month.
Mimi,
When the weather is warmer and less windy then it’s definitely a playful month. I’m not in much of playful mood in the cold. I feel more like Grumpy Cathy. lol
Very lovely sketch. You have some amazing talent. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
Patrick,
I’m glad you decided to be apart of my WW linky party! Thanks for the fostering of good feelings with your kind words about my art skills. 🙂
great drawing- love it! Right now outside it’s snowing…..brrrrrrrr Perhaps by March 31 we’ll have some warm sunny days!
Have a great week!
Kathe,
This month will be gone before we know it and for many, that can’t be soon enough. I’m tired of the cold! 🙂
That sketch says March like no words can!
I think so, too. Thanks!
Love your sketch, Cathy! Yes, March has arrived and even though we have a sunshiny day, the temp is 27 degree F in my neck of the woods. Good grief!
Eugenia,
It got cold there, didn’t it? After tonight, our lows will be out of the teens and 20s. I’m looking forward to the warmer weather to come!
Me too!
Love your cute drawing. Very March indeed!
Thanks for popping in, Veronica and joining the party!
That is a lovely sketch and sums up March perfectly.

I’m glad you joined me today. Thanks for the boast!
And the rain! Yikes–it’s been nonstop!
Jacqui,
Yeah, it seems like that. It was dry yesterday and today but I believe it moves back into the area on Friday. 🙁
Love your sketches!
I appreciate your support. Thanks for stopping by, Mary!
What a cute drawing. It makes us happy to look at it.
Thanks, I appreciate your kind words. Could the dog in the illustration have something to do with it making you happy?
Ours came in like a lion too. The wind is blowing and it’s raining right now. I have to go out this afternoon and I’m sure I’ll be facing the same kind of weather that’s depicted in your beautiful sketch. You’re ever so talented.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Love and hugs. ♥
Sandee,
You’re a sweetie. Thanks! I only had to get out to go to the mailbox which wasn’t too bad but I’m glad I didn’t have to be out long and for the sun shining.
That came out great! Thanks for hosting. Have a wonderful day! XO
Ellen,
Thanks and I’m so glad that you came by today for a peek.
That’s a very pretty Wordless Windy sketch!
Thanks, Brian! 🙂
Your sketch is fantabulosa Cathy absolutely love it 🙂
Well March has marched in very windy here in London arrgghh!
Have a sketchtastic week Cathy ➡
Steve,
We’re getting the wind, rain, and cold! I’m ready for sunny, blue skies to return. 🙂
Hi, Cathy!
Happy Not-so-Wordless Wednesday, dear friend! You turned out another great drawing, Cathy. It’s easy to imagine a gust of march wind blowing that woman’s hair, scarf and bag in the opposite direction she’s trying to walk. Reminds me of winter mornings on the campus of Penn State when I needed to walk a half mile from my dorm to first period class. It was so cold and the wind so relentless that sometimes I wondered if I’d make it.
Have a wonderful Wednesday, dear friend Cathy!
Tom,
Those early March winds are quite nippy and even more so the further north you are. When DH worked in Michigan the wind blew constantly and quite vigorously. He hated it! I’m so glad we didn’t have to move because I would have not liked it, either. Thanks for the encouraging words on my sketch. I plan to sketch a similar design as a pencil drawing but that’ll have wait for now. Have a good afternoon, my friend!
Your sketches are getting more detailed, Cathy. Nice one! 🙂 Yes, we are hoping for some lamb-like weather soon. Happy Wednesday!
Debbie,
After a freezing start this week, warm weather returns on Saturday. We’ll all be a little happier to see things heat up a bit, won’t we? When do y’all begin to see spring-like temps, late April? Thanks for joining me today.
