Howdy-hi, y’all! I hope everyone is doing fabulous. Anyway, welcome to Monday’s Music Moves Me on Sundays! This week’s theme is Fever – Cabin or Running one!
There are s no fevers running here. I’m the picture of perfect health and so is DH. That being said, I decided song picks to help break me out of this cabin fever state of mind is the better choice but first a not-so-distant memory of us escaping for the afternoon in late February 2022.
We decided to take a drive to release some penned up energy due to cabin fever. That’s all we felt comfortable doing with it being the sick season. It was a gorgeous day. Our short outing took us northeast of the city to Panther Creek State Park. Despite the beautiful skies, it was a bit too cool and windy to suit us for long stints outside the warmth of our car. It was nice nonetheless and did wonders to refresh our spirits.

On our way out of the park, we came upon half a dozen of deer. This one was situated close enough to the car for me to snap a picture stretching across DH. They weren’t at all afraid of us.

My Internet song search lead me an article on the WV Tourism center website 27 Songs That Can Break You Out of Cabin Fever. One of the song titles just resonated with me. Normally, whenever we want to break out of our cabin fever we like going to the mountains and so this tune if in name only is a perfect fit. Please listen to Of Monsters and Men, “Mountain Sound”
Music themes are only suggestions. I don’t care one what kind of music it is, as long as you share music. Now, it’s your turn!

Turning another year younger this month on the 18th is Robin from Songbird’s Crazy World.
Although February is typically has two or three fewer days than most months, it somehow seems a lot shorter. I guess it’s a psychological thing. The next time we meet on the dance floor it’ll be March. I’m eager for spring blooms and the return of fairer weather. Until our paths cross again, be happy and blessed and have a boogietastic week!

The video with the horses jumping over the gap and otherwise running on that bridge (?) was mesmerizing (I liked the song, too). Happy belated birthday to our Songbird. Alana ramblinwitham
