Grown Up Christmas List

In my search for daily Christmas mewsic I went with what moves me when I stumbled on Kelly Clarkson’s cover of today’s song pick. I like Kelly’s easy, fun personality. Vocally, she’s okay but when it comes to mewsic I’d rather hear other artists. I almost went with Michael Buble’s cover but then I realized that I used his cover in 2016, so I decide to go with the orignal recording artist, Natalie Cole and her voice sounds like an angel singing, ‘Grown Up Christmas List’.

Almost three years to the date, we were in Dillsboro, North Carolina and on our way home, we decided to stopp off for a look around at the Balsam Mountain Inn. I shared inside shots of the Inn in one of my not-so Wordless Wednesday in 2016 and I meant to share this photo but never got around to doing it, so better late than never.

It’s truly a beautiful old inn and I’d love to go back to photograph it again. Who knows, maybe we’ll find ourselves doing just that while on vacation.
