Follow Friday Four Fill-In Fun

For me, I’m an on and off Friday participator of blog hops. Why? I’m largely influenced by my darling husband’s work schedule, which is just that. Naturally, I want to spend time with him on his day off because he’s so fabulous!

Today is one of his on Fridays at the office, so I have the small luxury of playing Hilary’s fun meme.

This week’s blank statements and my answers:

  1. When I was little, all I wanted was a to grow up and now that I am, I want to be little again. Isn’t that ironic?
  2. I always want to love to stop eating my favorite chocolate after a few bites, but no matter how hard I try, I don’t.
  3. The bittersweet truth of it all was is that my youngest daughter and her boyfriend are now engaged, which has left me a mixture of sadness and gladness. Where does the time go?
  4. The low-hanging clouds against the Smoky Mountains make me think of the Porcupine Islands in Bar Harbor from Cadillac Mountain. Totally beautiful!

What do you need to do to join the fun? It’s easy, simple…

  • Add the Follow Friday Button to your post, or your blog.

  1. I’m like you…I have to wait and wait to finally be able to blog! Once the snow starts falling, I’ll have plenty of time for blog hops. Haven’t done one for a while…

  2. eating a Coffee crisp as I hop around….the bloggy world that is. It’s one of the mini ones; really, I could have another and it would be fine. I’ll stop at 3…more would be just decadent.

My daughter’s spied my wedding dress in the closet a few months back. With eyes as big as saucers they stroked the fabric. They cannot wait to try it on! I have been saving it hoping that they woudl wear it at some point…whether wedding or prom, whatever. But I can definitely wait for that day – no rush at all!

  3. Ah Kathy,
My daughter was recently married as well and I do know exactly what you are going through. I never really knew what a bittersweet emotion was until then. JUST wait until the wedding!!
