Finally It’s Christmas time #Hanson #music

Good-morning, kittens & dawgs! For the month of December it’s gonna be nothing but mewsic…Christmas mewsic that is and so each week I’m gonna feature a new-to-me artist or Christmas album. Starting with Hanson and Finally, It’s Christmas!

I’m linking up taking a coffee break with Stacy, Les, and Amber this morning and you’re invited to come with and let me remind you to visit again tomorrow for not-so Wordless Wednesday. X💋X💋, Cathy

    1. Sandee,

Anytime you are able to get up in the morning, life is good. Having coffee and listening to Christmas mewsic is a bonus. 🙂 Thanks for stopping in for a visit today!

  1. Yes, finally, it’s getting to be that time of year, and i’m enjoying it as much as i can. Thanks for the music!

  2. Hi, Cathy!

I had a late night last night because we were across the state attending our grandson’s Christmas choir concert. I needed to “sleep in” this morning.

As Wiki points out, it is somewhat confusing because, in addition to this pop rock mewsic act Hanson, consisting of a band of brothers from Tulsa, there was also The Hanson Brothers, a Canadian punk rock band, and Hanson, a British rock band. However I do remember this Hanson group making a splash in the late 90s when they were a very young boy band that appealed primarily to girls. They have matured nicely and I enjoyed their holiday songs. Thank you for the play list.

Have a great Tuesday, dear friend Cathy!

    1. Tom,

Thanks for joining me this morning. Sometimes we need to sleep in a bit to feel more refreshed. I imagined the Hanson’s did appeal to young girls. I miss this tidbit provided by Wikipedia. That’s interesting there are two other groups with similar names. Have a good day! BTW, I’m sharing your link today in Friday’s post. 🙂

  3. My girls used to be into Hanson. I think they’re pretty good. I remember one Christmas when I bought them videos and CDs by Hanson and Spice Girls.

    1. Lee,

I do not remember the Hanson band but in their early years (1992-96) my kids were still quite young and really not forming too much of their own mewsic impressions yet. I didn’t have time to listen to the radio in those early years, either. So, I imagine that’s how they went undetected and by the time mine got old enough the group fell out of favor or the band members moved on to their solo careers. Now, I’m a little curious to know how each did on their own. Sounds like a potential post if you ask me. 🙂
