Now, that was a majestic performance of Gloria in Excelsis Deo – I am breathless after listening to it. The Amy Grant was quite nice. Great song selection!
Alana,
Ahh, don’t you just love it when a song does that to you?
LOVE that your playlist spells out your hubby’s name! And I LOVE all your song choices! I really love this time of year! 🙂
Lovely Sparks.
Thanks for stopping by, Patricia!
Clever idea, to spell you husband’s name with the musical selections. All great songs here. Pentatonix is just remarkable.
John,
Pentatonix is impressive. I, especially like their “Little Drummer Boy” rendition. I’ve featured them on my site a time or two in recent years. 🙂
That is a wonderful Sparks wish. I wish it for everyone, too. More good wishes!
Thank you, Cathy, for being a part of Sparks. I value you as a friend. Hugs!
Annie,
Likewise, dearie, I value YOU! You’re a great friend!! Hugs back at ya! 😉
Nice song choices, I love Breath of Heaven. Excellent spark too.
Ellen,
I’m glad you liked my “Sparks” quote. “Breath of Heaven” is a beautiful song, isn’t it? It’s so tender.
Great spark! Thank you for sharing. Sadly, favorite Christmas songs have become ear worms the second they start to play, so I don’t tend to listen, though I can enjoy some rock Christmas tunes. Jimmy Hendrix has an amazing one.
Darla,
Very true, Christmas mewsic becomes instant earworms if not careful. I generally don’t mind it, though. I love Christmas mewsic!
My mama use to play Gene Autrey all the time when I was little at Christmas time. Thanks for bringing back wonderful memories! BIG HUGS name spelling to cute!!! Way ta go Cat!!!!
Marie,
Gene Autrey is apart everyone our ages childhood and hearing him bring back fond memories for us all. I’m so glad you enjoyed! 😉
I’ve always liked the lively Christmas songs the best.
Joyce,
I like ALL Christmas mewsic – lively or somber. I love ’em all! Thanks for dancing with me today!
Love your Spark. You just described our home. Love it.
Have a fabulous day filled with goodness. ♥
Oh, goody! Thanks for popping by today, Sandee! Have a good week, my friend.
Great quote and we picked the same song today. Very cool.
I absolutely adore this quote and will probably “borrow” it in the near future! And, I did the Christmas carol name game on one of my posts a couple days ago. (https://peripheralperceptions.wordpress.com/2017/12/09/just-for-fun/). Breath of Heaven is one of my favorite Christmas songs.
Lisa,
Hey borrow away! After all, I did. 🙂 Yeah, I saw today after visiting your Monday’s post that you did indeed keep to your word in coming up with your own Christmas name playlist. Good job! 😉
Fabulous selections, i pray you have a blessed week!
Mimi,
So glad you joined in the fun and I pray that your week is also blessed, my friend! 🙂
Hi, Cathy!
It’s so cool that you spelled DH’s name using the first letters of seasonal song titles. I’m sure he will be honored by the gesture. Add a couple pieces of your homemade Christmas candy and your sweet toothed Robin will be happy as a lark. 🙂
I enjoyed starting my morning with your mewsical selections. I am quite familiar with Gene Autry’s famous hit recording of “Rudolph” but all the other selections are new to me as performed by these artists. When it comes to holiday songs I prefer traditional carols that remind us of the real meaning of Christmas. For that reason I especially liked the performances by Andrea Bocelli and Pentatonix. PTX fans were saddened when bass vocalist Avi Kaplan left the group earlier this year to start a solo singing career. I enjoyed Aretha’s version of “O Christmas Tree.” When I was in the school choir we learned the German language version. I also enjoyed Amy Grant’s recording “Breath of Heaven (Mary’s Song),” a very pretty and inspiring song.
Thank you very much, dear friend Cathy. Have a wonderful day and week!
Tom,
Trust me, DH is getting more than his share of Christmas candy and goodies. We’re both going to be sweet-toothed out before the holidays are over. Thanks for popping in this morning to enjoy my selections of Christmas mewsic on the dance floor. Have a glorious week, my friend!
Love your song list and I love that spark – sending that wish to you too.
I hope you’re enjoying this lovely Christmas season, Pamela. Thanks for popping in for some mewsic and Christmas inspiration!
I like what you did very creative!
Thanks, Mike! I’m glad you liked my spin of creativity. 🙂
