Christmas Edition #laughs dog shorts, hooked on, dim bulbs, Christmas tree cartoons

Another week is coming to an end and with that, I want to round things off with a little humor.  I think that’s about I have to offer.

This week, I have to skip Ellen at 15andMeowing and Lorraine at Four-Legged Furballs Friday Friendly Fill-ins but do stop in to visit them if you get a chance.

  1. Hi Honey, Love your post and everything in it. Sorry to bother you, but couldn’t sleep. I wanted to say hello and to see how my blog is coming along. It’s a mess and I’m racking my brains to try and fix it. Maybe I’ll be around Monday, maybe I won’t. I’m just so embarrassed that I lost my blog. I’m sorry to cause all this trouble for you, but I sure do appreciate all your help. It’s 4 a.m. and I cannot sleep. Anyway, I wanted to thank you and here’s my new link… https://thenewxmasdolly.blogspot.com/p/contact-me.html So far you and my friend Sandee has it. So, I don’t know I’m wracking my brain to try and figure this bugger out and the friend that was supposed to help sure isn’t doing what she said she would so far, but we’ll see. Thank you again sweet one for being who you are…. THE BEST! HUGS, Marie

  2. Love all the funnies. The pup that shorted out the tree made me laugh out loud. I also love Maxine. Sounds like my family too.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, Cathy. Love and hugs. ♥

  3. Hi, Cathy!

Happy Friday, dear friend! I have come to sample some Sillies, and I thank you for making time to visit me at SPMM yesterday.

Looks like that doggy got a jolt after trying to do his #1 business on that Christmas tree. :0 The next cartoon is a very funny one – a holiday ornament at an AA type meeting confessing that he’s always been hooked on Christmas trees. I wonder if the group offers a 12 step program to get him unhooked. 🙂 That’s also a great line delivered by crabby Maxine in reference to family members being dim bulbs. I hear ya, Max! 🙂 The chimney in the next cartoon is so wide that Santa could probably lower a Cadillac through it. 🙂

I never heard that Santa song by Louis Armstrong. It’s a hoot and the orchestra really swings!

This was an especially good assortment of Sillies, Cathy, and you closed with a rousing jazz number by Pops Armstrong. Thank you for the smiles, laughs and mewsic. I wish you and DH a safe and happy weekend, dear friend!
