An unexpected surprise while driving the Cherohala Parkway last Friday!

Thanks for stopping by.  Hopefully inspiration will strike and time will allow for me to share another illustration for the Thursday Art Date with Rain. Thanks for joining me today and may you have a blessed day! X💋X💋, Cathy

Normally, I participate in Wordless Wednesday hop but am short on time this week as I’m sure the rest of you are, too.  However, if you have time, do visit my friends hosting their own WW community.

  1. Girlfriend, I’ll get you that information tomorrow. It’s late and I’m heading to bed for now. It’s been a long day. It was mine and Dave’s 21st Wedding Anniversary. We drove all over looking for a place to eat and nothing… it was all closed dining room… what a bummer, so I came home and made frozen fish. Wow, what a let down, but we had each other, right? Right!!!! So, til’ tomorrow MERRY CHRISTMAS Honey! HUGS

    1. Marie,

I’m sorry for the disappointment. Things just aren’t the same this year. Having a cozy meal at home with the one you love really can’t beat anyhow, though. Happy Anniversary and may you have many more years of togetherness, my dear! Send the info when you can and I’ll do my best to try to get you going before Monday rolls around. Have the merriest Christmas ever, my friend!

    1. Nicole,

No one is ever late with visits at my place. I’m happy to see you when I see you. 😉 Have a joyful Christmas and may God bestow goodness on you in the coming new year!

  2. Oh the snow is so pretty. I would have loved to drive through that area in the snow. Beautiful.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Love and hugs. ♥

    1. Sandee,

It was lovely and unexpected. We wanted to drive the parkway across the Tennessee line into Robbinsville, North Carolina but after we got about 3000 ft the road was quite icy in places and not knowing what was ahead we didn’t chance it and turned around. The parkway probably is rarely treated. It made our day extra special, though.
