Blake Shelton

Welcome to Monday’s Music Moves Me on Sunday!  This week’s theme is whatever music moves you.  A song that I want to share with you crossed my path last year and it seems a good fit.  It’s Easter and while my song pick isn’t about this special occasion, I know if it weren’t for Christ’s death then God’s free gift of salvation couldn’t be offered to me or you.  When you live on the wrong side of scripture then a person feels like the words the song author penned.  If we’re honest, we might see ourselves in this song now in the present or once in the past. The words are very relatable!

Jesus understands everything!

This is a music link up.  Your post must contain at least one song, if not your URL is marked “NO MUSIC” or worse deleted.

The 4M co-hostess are featured in my right side bar underneath the banner. The guidelines are simple.  Every other week, a suggested (not mandatory) theme is given to build your song picks. YouTube and other music sites have options to create and embed playlists or individual songs into your post. On the off weeks, we dance to whatever music moves you (your choice)! To access the party, add your music post below, and visit others on the dance floor. Let the party begin!

I’m doing a birthday salute the last 4M post of each month.  This month John from The Sound of One Hand Typing celebrated turning another year older on the 25th.  If you had one this month and care to share it with us then drop it in comments.  This song is for you – Happy Birthday!

Blue Shadows was Lowell Fulson’s #1 R&B hit. The anniversary of his 103rd birthday is Mar 31st.

Stay tune for my April 1st edition of BOTB and have a boogietastic week!

  1. Very nice song. Blake Shelton is a great musician. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.

  2. Happy Easter to you, Cathy and Happy Birthday to John! Although I’m not a huge country music fan, I do like Blake Shelton. 🙂 And Blue Shadows is excellent, as are your sketches. 🙂

  3. Blake Shelton is one dude I don’t care for, but since it’s Easter we’ll just leave it at that. Happy Easter from all of us at Brian’s Home!

  4. Although I am not a big country fan, I do like Blake Shelton’s music. Lowell Fulson was new to me. I kept thinking, John will know him! Which reminded me, although I know Blake Shelton has left The Voice (and I have never watched it), we in the Binghamton, New York area have a local woman in the competition this year – Alyssa Crosby. People are really excited for her. I hope you are having a wonderful Easter Sunday. Alana ramblinwitham

  5. I’m actually participating this week. I know, what a shock. I’ve been busy with hubby.
