Alone with God; He is my refuge

God’s presence is all around me but the ambiance found in the Appalachian mountains brings the sense of God even closer. Perhaps it’s looking across the miles and layers of mountain tops that heightens my awareness that God is near. Whatever it is, it’s there I find beautiful tranquility to refresh my body and soul. I am Alone with God even though others are sharing the same view, perhaps sensing the very essence that I do of God being there, too.

I hope you and yours are well today. We all continue to fight the urge to break from our invisible chains during these days of ‘staying at home’ but we can find peace resting shadow of the Almighty. I feel things are looking up and better days are coming. Be encouraged, not discouraged!
