Are you a quote collector? Do you have any favorites?

Love Judy Garland’s quote
awesome quotes Cathy! I especially like Einstein’s. Mae West cracked me up: she always made me laugh. Love Judy Garland’s quote too.
My favorite quote? Hmm, I have several (Have you ever seen my weekly series Notable Quotable that I do on my blog every Wednesday? — with the exception of April! I’m not that crazy to take that on too in the midst of all this madness! 🙂 )
Probably my 2 favs, no surprise here, involves animals:
“Until one has loved an animal, one’s soul remains unawakened.” by Anatole France
and
“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” by Mahatma Ghandi
Loved your post today!
See you tomorrow…

Great quotes! I very much agree with the Einstein quote.
I collect quotes and have files and files of them to some day use as blog post ideas. One of my favorite photographer quotes is from the late, great Ansel Adams: “There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs.”
I also like this one from T.S. Eliot:
“What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning. The
end is where we start from.”
Have a blessed day!
Those are great.
I thought for sure everyone would’ve gone nuts finding something for Q and my friend you are a genius. hahahha Putting up quotes and great they are. Especially Mae West and WC Fields… “Come up and see me some time”!!!! bwahahaha I’m very bad on imitating. Thanks for sharing my friend you’re duh best! have a great evening and I finally got around to your 4M’s too. My back hates me lately so I haven’t been sitting at the puter that long the last few days! HUGS
Great quotes, by some pretty epic people!
That gentleman one is awesome! And I think rather true perhaps.
I love all of the quotes. I will be using them in my classes because they are so good.
I don’t know about collecting quotes. But I do quote from films frequently. I hope that counts.
These are great quotes..I especially love Einstein’s. I love many of Mae West’s quotes…” I as pure as the driven slush” and ” I used to be Snow White, but I drifted.”
Hi, Cathy!
I very much enjoyed these quotable notables of the past. Charlie Chaplin’s quote made me nod because I agree that comedy is the best way to get the truth across to people and the funniest jokes and the ones that ring with truth. Judy Garland’s quote also resonates with me. I think we owe it to ourselves to be an original, not a copycat. Lana Turner’s quote about men (wolves) is spot on and the ones by Mae West and W.C. Fields made me laugh.
Thank you very much for providing food for thought as a midnight snack, dear friend Cathy!
