4M Rocks to Kiddie TV Shows Theme Music!

CAPTAIN KANGAROO

Welcome to Monday’s Music Moves Me 115 edition!

This week’s theme is “Kids’ TV Shows“. My childhood seems like a long time in the past and yet not quite far enough for me to forget it totally. Let’s have some fun reminiscing of the good ole days or if you wanna plug-in your kiddie’s favorite TV shows theme as your picks then that’s fine; it makes no difference to me! Now, let’s get this party on the show!

MR. ROGERS NEIGHBORHOOD

GILLIGAN’S ISLAND

SCOOBY DOO WHERE ARE YOU?

The Monkees

I randomly picked the first TV theme songs that popped into my brain from those early childhood years. WOW, that was a lot of fun! Was it fun for you? Then don’t contain your excitement, let all of your friends know about the greatest dance party in Blogosphere is happening every Monday and for them to come join the fun.

Are you ready to get dancing this week? Admission to ride the Love Train is totally doable for anyone.  Are you ready to rock n’ roll with all the other passengers? Then, here’s what you do….

Go to YouTube insert your music video of choice.
Grab the “Monday’s Music Moves Me” Button.

Head conductor of the Love Train is Marie of XmasDolly & her co-conductors Callie of JAmericanSpice,  Stacy of Stacy Uncorked, little ole me, and this month’s honorary co-conductor.

Our spotlight dancer tops the linky line up in the number one spot – Congratulations, my friend!

  1. omg check all these wonderful shows and such long ago memories. I was so little watching Captain Kangaroo & Mr. Greenjeans. Gilligans Island oh my I watched that every day but Mr. Rogers NOPE I WAS NOT A FAN. HAHAHAHAHA GREAT CHOICES MY FRIEND. Sorry I’m so late I thought I got everyone. Not feeling well so a bit absent minded. Have a rocking week girlfriend and thanks for making us a success!

  2. Eeeeek! Gotta love all your picks this week, especially the legit Scooby Doo 🙂
Now my question is what happened to all these good quality shows? Now and days shows are just bad!

Thank you for sharing these memories with us all ^.^

    Have a musical week!

  3. The rest I don’t know but Scooby dooby doo! My son’s fave and I couldn’t even remember that! Oy!

    Thanks Cathy for these shares!

    Have a fun filled week!

  4. Scooby Dooby Doo!! Mine is the edgier version that my children now hear — but I think I like the classic version best still. And I wanted to add Gilligan’s Island too, but since I let the little ones make their picks, I only choose one for myself.

  5. What a great shot of the salute at the Memorial.

Gilligan’s Island, absolutely one of my Favorite, along with the Monkees too. Oh, and I watched Captain Kangaroo all the time. The memories 🙂
