Top o’ the mornin’ to ya, lasses and lads! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!

Welcome to week #183! Today we’re partying “freebie-style“.  This means anything goes! Music-wise that is, so whatever tunes are getting your groove on, then we want to hear it right here on Monday’s Music Moves Me!

Our lovely hostesses, XmasDolly, would like to thank you for joining the party and as always JAmericanSpice, Stacy Uncorked, Just the stuff ya know & myself are happy that you came.

Dance party rules:

We aren’t music snobs, if you have tunes to share, then you’re cool coz all we want to do is dance. Now, it’s time to link up and shake your bootie with all the fellow rockin’ bloggin’ friends below!

** Remember, to be considered for honorary co-host each month, then be sure to add your URL to the link up.**

When I think St. Patty’s day, I do think of leprechauns, 4-leaf clovers, and a pot of gold. I also think of rainbows and what lies on the other side ~ one’s dreams or possibilities of what tomorrow will bring.

I decided to make freebie-style week about rainbows and so I’m sharing with you four covers of Judy Garland’s classic “Over the Rainbow”.

What lies on the other side of the rainbow for you? For me… my dream house! Do you like one cover of Over the Rainbow the best?

Did you have a good time on the dance floor? I did. Next stop… your place!  What music moves you?

Be sure to come back next week to dance with the 4M crew, and if you can’t get enough music, then join me for Saturday Song-suasion!

  1. I can’t figure out which session I like best 🙂 They are each good!

Behind my rainbow would be a degree for me 🙂 Then I can get a good job.

    Thanks for sharing.
    Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

  2. I’m luvin’ this stuff here. Over the rainbow is my most favorite songs from all time. Just luvin’ all the versions. The Celtic Woman are like Angels singing the tune. Awesome. What was the first one? It was removed by user. 🙁

  3. Oh my gosh you posted some of my favorites. I love your selection. The celtic woman and River dance are amazing.

  4. I could watch those dancing flying feet All Day! love it. I wish I had never stopped stepping. It calls something in my blood out of hiding.
One of my girls always wants Somewhere over the Rainbow at night. Have you ever heard Mandy Patinkin’s version? It’s so amazing, you’ll cry. I am sure it’s on YouTube.
but my favourite is the mashup with What A Wonderful World that Israel Kamakawiwo’ole does. It’s similar in sound to the Piano Guys, but with the lyrics. so beautiful.

  5. I do like watching Irish Dancing 🙂

Over The Rainbow is a beautiful song whoever sings it but Eva Cassidy’s is fantastic 😉

  6. I feel that I am flying over the rainbow right now. A few weeks ago when we had rain here in California, we had rainbows galore. We get them a lot when it rains as we are behind the mountains. The wind blows the rain towards us and the sun shines right on through it, and we get rainbows!

    Happy St. Patrick’s Day.

  7. I see somebody loves “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” as much as I do. All beautiful renditions, especially the Celtic Women – wow. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a fantastic week!

  8. All new to me to say the least, but Happy St. Paddy’s Day to you too. My favorite I guess is somewhere over the rainbow. Sure wish I could find that place. Have a great day.
