While going through old emails, like a magnet one file name caught my eye. After reading it again after 24 years, it touched me and the timing couldn’t be more perfect. Please take a moment to reflect and be blessed!
Good Morning,
To be upset over what you don’t have is to waste what you do have. Do you have gratitude for the things you do have?
There are four things we should give thanks for each and every day: The most obvious is for the things we have: love, enthusiasm, friends, good
health, and dreams and goals for the future.
The next is for what we don’t have: a life-threatening illness, someone who takes away our sense of self, and a sense of purposelessness.
Then there are the things we are not: a liar, a cheat, a person lacking in love and compassion for others, and an individual with no desire to live life to its fullest.
And last of all, for the people we are: individuals who are making a difference in the world and making the world a better place because we are here. With all of these things to be grateful for–who has time to be upset over what we don’t have?
