Originally signed by Simon Cowell, the Irish boy band ~ Westlife sold more than 50 million records worldwide, but never found a stronghold in the USA until 2000 with their single hit, Swear It Again (Westlife 1999 album track 1). This band isn’t new-to-me, but isn’t all that familiar to me, either. While Googling songs about “queens”, this song popped up by them.
Queen of my Hearts, written by John McLaughlin, Wayne Hector, and Steve Robson became the band’s 9th UK number #1 single, staying at the top of the chart for one week.
