I found a lovely blog geared for those who are thankful for God’s blessings. What a marvelous, encouraging outlet to stream positive energies across the world-wide net to other sisters in Christ!
My desire is to once a week devote a single post to share my thanksgivings. Today, I begin. I am Thankful for…
- the annoying sound of the alarm clock which greeted me this morning.
- the ability to rise out of bed completely and fully healthy.
- a wonderful husband to wake up and to help get send off to work each day.
- my husband’s profession which has allowed me to be a SAHM for 23 years.
- the Lord for giving my husband his current job here in town after being suddenly laid off last year.
- our cozy, small home when so many are without.
- that our pantry is well stocked and I am not hungry.
- God giving mankind the knowledge to invent awesome modern conveniences such dishwashers, microwaves, washing machines and clothes dryers.
- the internet, an avenue which has led me to many new friends.
- my parents who are still with me.
What are you thankful today?

Your list is great! I right there with you on almost every single one of them-hubs was close to being one of the 23 that got laid off last year, but he didn’t! And I’m not a fan of the alarm clock. LOL
@Anonymous…That’s a lot to be thankful for indeed. We’re blessed to have common thanksgivings when there are others who do not. It serves to remind us how good we have it, huh?
@EmptyNester…we’ve seen so many lay-offs over the year, but God has been so good to providing what we need every time. It’s not just me who’s blessed, but my entire family.

Thankful I woke up with a roof over my head, breakfast to eat, and the never ending love of my family that I know I can always count on. Have a good day Cathy!
