We The Kingdom, Dancing On The Waves

A blessed Sunday morning to you, dear friends. Today’s share is for you to enjoy, nothing more nothing less. You don’t need to leave a single word here. This isn’t about me but for you. Let God to minster to your hearts’ needs.

In this new year, I resolved to find…no make the time each day to soak up inspiration in God’s word.  I’ve gotten so busy with every day life that I allowed my spiritual health to take a back seat. I kept telling myself I know where I stand with the Lord and that was good enough but good enough isn’t really enough is it?

The song that spoke to me this week is by We The Kingdom, Dancing On The Waves.

I’m standing at your door
My heart is calling yours
Come fall into my arms

You’re weary from it all
Been running for too long
I’m here to bring you home

I’m reaching out
I’ll chase you down
I dare you to believe
How much I love you now

Don’t be afraid
I am your strength
We’ll be walking on the water
Dancing on the waves

Look up and lift your eyes
The future’s open wide
I have great plans for you

Your past is dead and gone
Your healing has begun
I’m making all things new

I set every star into place
So that you would remember my name
I made it all for you

But you are my masterpiece
You are the reason I sing
This is my song for you

I don’t believe any of us are going to actually be called to walk on the waves like Jesus called Peter in Matthew 14:22-23 but like Peter we’re pulled under because of our fears. It’s important to always keep our heart’s eye on the One who calms the water so we don’t drown.  I know He stands with me daily allowing me to dance on the waves of life. He calms my storms emotionally and physically. He will do the same for you if you’re let him.

Thank you for visiting.  We’ll be watching the Super Bowl this evening, so I’m ready to settle in for a relaxing afternoon with DH snacking and getting prepped for the big game.  I hope you have a songsational day and I invite you to you to join me for some love songs playin’ on the jukebox of the Monday’s Mewsic Moves Me dance floor!

  1. Hi Cathy 🙂 I can relate, I often forget my spirituality when I let my busy life takeover. I always regret it because spirituality grounds me. Enjoy the Superbowl and all of your yummy snacks!! 🙂

    1. Rain,

It’s important we take quiet time to reflect and savor life’s blessings. This helps to keep me centered and creates a deeper appreciation for everything in my life. Thanks for stopping by for a visit, my dear!
