There are times in my life when circumstances push so hard I don’t see anyway out, I lose sight of God for the storm. It’s easy saying, just to turn it over to the Master but doing it is another story. I know, I’ve been there done that but the moment I realize that my worries are getting me no where other than sleepless nights and days filled with anxiety that robs me of my health and happiness, it’s then I let go. The weight is bigger and heavier than I am. The struggle isn’t meant for me to carry along. You know when I release the worry to His care, God places in me a peace. As His child, I’m never alone. He is beside me all the while. I know He always has a plan for me or those in my life and will take care of the situation accordingly.
Talking to God does my spirit good always but you know God gives us mewsic to soothe the mind while we wait for His deliverance from the troubles surrounding us. I found a beautiful compilation of peaceful music to help you unwind over the next hour. Press play and enjoy.
Is the weight of circumstances pulling you down? I invite you to take a page out of my playbook to surrender it all over to Him. Trust me, you will feel better and while the problem doesn’t go away you know the unseen hand of God is working on it.
My go-to verse to recite in stressful times is from the Old Testament, Proverbs 3: 5-6 which says…
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
I’ll be back tomorrow with Monday’s Mewsic Moves Me with ‘your choice song picks‘ and you’re invited to join me on the dance floor. Feel free to get an early start now by linking up your mewsic shares below. Have a blessed day, my friend!

Binky,
I’m totally at peace. I guess I set the mood making you and others think I’m having a hard time just now. I was inspired last week after receiving a daily Bible reading to share my thoughts on how I found my peace by turning loose of my worries to Jesus. Sometimes, we just need that reminder to let go and let the One who’s in charge of everything do His job. Thank you for your kindness. It means so much to me!
Praying for your peace!
Mimi,
Everyone who’s commented has been so kind but as I mentioned to Binky all is good here. I felt moved to share my experience with how I’ve dealt with and try to continue dealing with times of shadowy times. We all walk through the lows of life and we just need a little reminder every once in awhile. Many thanks for the prayers of peace, though. I know God is with me always. 🙂
Last week, I had to trust God that I would get home in time from jury duty to be with Prancie and that did keep me calm for the 4 hours I had to wait to be released. And he did provide, she waited. I will join up tomorrow, thank you for hosting. XO
Ellen,
Yes, indeed you did and He heard your prayers. I’m so glad God gave the chance to say your goodbyes to your sweet girl, Prancie.
I hope your heart and mind find peace soon, it’s there.
Thanks, Brian! You’re a very pawful furiend!
Paul,
I love this song! It’s not only beautiful but it’s assuring. Blessings to you, my friend!
Hi, Cathy!
I am just stopping in to say good morning and happy Sunday, dear friend. The car is fully loaded and Mrs. Shady and I are leaving soon for yet another trip across the state to our destination house. I am not looking forward to fighting the heavy snowbird traffic and all the unpacking and organizing at the end of our journey, but it is what it is. Thank you for the words of hope and inspiration along with mewsic to soothe the soul. They will help me through the challenges of today and the weeks ahead.
Have a blessed Sunday and a wonderful week, dear friend Cathy!
