Good-morning, kittens & dawgs! Is this March? That’s what the calendar says, but you can’t prove it by me. There’s no denying the global warming theory is hard to buy with the arctic breeze breathing down our neck nonstop. Old Man winter still clings on. To fight the chill, let’s get some great big ol belly laughs with these global warming is a hoax chuckles, and if you’re looking for my #BoTB results, then you’ll find it at the bottom of my post. Meanwhile why not enjoy your weekly dose of laughter on #SundaySillies! Continue reading
Good-morning, kittens & dawgs! February’s door is closed and the thought of spring to come sure looks nice because it’s been one of those crazy wintry weeks here in the Tennessee Valley. That being said, let’s enjoy a little snow day humor this morning! Continue reading
Good-morning, kittens & dawgs! I crawled out of bed at 5am to a bone chilling 7℉. What a way to start the day! For the next few days Knoxvillans will think they are in a freezer.
Winter keeps rearing its ugly head with wicked arctic blasts, cold freezing rain, and frigid temperatures. Last month, I posted a similar photo as this one for my WW post entitled Cold As Ice.
The only difference is the direction in which I am facing. This winter has been strange. It’s easy to see how Mother Nature earned her name with all the hot and cold flashes she’s dishing us.
For those of you who haven’t had a glimpse at the cold.

To fit the mood or if nothing else in name only, here is winter in song.

It’s the first weekend of a brand new year. What better way to kick things off then with a little R&R in your back yard in the warm winter sun, right? Not for me, you say. Well me, either. I think some people are just a wee bit bonkers. Lets laugh ourselves silly with more Friday Sillies…
Exercising is a good thing period, but come on! Isn’t this carrying things too far?
Thank you Mister for covering up, I don’t think I would have made it down the ski slope laughing all the way.
Sledding down a snowy hill is a fun pastime, but I think I would be doing it with a few more articles of clothing. These gals are either brave or being paid a lot of money to do this stunt! It looks like the camera men and crowd are enjoying themselves, though. I can’t imagine why. Pretty. Topless. Girls. May have something to do with the gathering. Just saying….
It would be an understatement to say this is a bit extreme, but who am I to judge? Okay, I am! These folks are off their rockers! Don’t you agree?
I hope you enjoyed the sillies. Have a good weekend and keep smiling!
I want your comments on these questions I posted yesterday:
1. Do you think it would be a fun feature on my blog to send out birthday greetings?
2. Would you be interested in participating in this new weekly or monthly spotlight on my blog? If so, please leave your birthday (month & day unless you’re brave enough to share the year) and your home page URL in my comments.

As February draws to an end I dare say each one of us is looking forward to the return of spring. Perhaps some of us more than others, especially for our neighbors who live in extremely cold conditions during the winter.
My Thursday Two Questions revolving around spring cleaning.
1) Do you do spring cleaning? If so, how long does it typically take to get your spring cleaning out-of-the-way? I do spring & fall cleaning. I can’t get either cleaning jobs done in those seasons. It seems once the weather breaks I begin my deep cleaning. Usually, by summer I have my spring cleaning done and then again by late fall I have that round of cleaning completed.
2) What’s the biggest spring cleaning job you don’t look forward to getting done? The worse job I dread tackling is washing the winter bedding. There is a mound the size of Mt. Everest every spring to wash and place into storage.
Thanks for joining me today. Please visit Amanda to link up with the Thursday 2 Q fun and don’t forget to leave your answers in my comments to my questions.
Most of us are up to our eyes in that frozen stuff called, snow. Admittedly, we all have a bit of a kid inside of us. While visiting some of my fellow bloggers today, I discover The Redhead Riter’s post on snowflakes. I thought this was a fun and interesting post. If you have small children, then they may be delighted to see how snowflakes form or to create their own snowflake patterns with virtual paper and scissors or even to make an animated snowflake online. Check out her post here. Enjoy the fun!
