Another birthday, another DIY rubber-stamp art project!

The anniversary of my mother’s birthday approaches and it was with great pride that I created this cute card.

Indian Boundary Lake

Indian Boundary Lake Cherokee National Forest

Thanks for joining me for Wordless Wednesday.  I took today’s photo off Cherohala Skyway at the Indian Boundary Recreation Area. In my opinion, this beautiful lake nestled in the mountains has a striking resemblance of Jordan Pond on Bar Island, Maine in Acadia National Park.

Not pictured in the above photo is a foot trail that circles the lake. Below is another gorgeous view from this woodsy access trail. Isn’t this peaceful?

Let’s flashback Wayback Wednesday alphabet style continuing with the letter “A“!

Alicia Keys

Angela from Mommy Time Out and I would like to thank you for joining us for another edition of Wayback Wednesdays.  To participate in this blog hop you don’t have to follow a bunch of rules. It’s simple! Just link up your blog, twitter, or Facebook below (only one please).

It’s great to see you here! I hope this becomes a regular routine for you each week to share in my musical memories and my photo ops. Although I’m a bit slow at making my rounds, I am faithful in visiting everyone who stops by. Throw on a pot of coffee and I’ll be by your place soon!

It Takes Two, Volcano, The Night Has a Thousand Eyes, Superwoman

Welcome to the 89th edition of Monday’s Music Moves Me!
Marie from Xmas Dolly is head conductor.

Helping out on the Love Train to make sure things run smoothly are co-conductors:    Lorie of The Shewbridges of Central Florida,  Callie of JAmericanSpice,  Stacy of Stacy Uncorked , and yours truly!

This month, cheers to our honorary co-conductor RunDMT.  Thanks Denise for joining us!

Let’s get this dance party started, shall we? I’m eager to begin by following you as the Love Train pulls in at your stop. This week’s theme is “freebie” pick. So, have fun!

Angela from Time Out Mommy introduced me to this long-lost song from 1990.

Phillip Phillips introduced this song to me on Idol Wednesday night.

A.I. hopeful performed this song earlier this season. Oddly enough I like the slow seductive version over the original by Bobby Vee.  That’s surprising for me to like the remark more. What do you think?

In closing, let me dedicate this song to Moms everywhere.

That’s it for now folks. I hope you enjoyed my Monday’s Music Moves Me line up.
