U is in yoU, which makes you, U #music #AprilA2Z

Puritan's Pride Vitamins

Good morning, kittens & dawgs! I’m Under a dark Cloud (The Bangles) and I feel like climbing Under the Sheets (Ellie Goulding) till the crisis is over, but there’s no place to hide. Not Under the Boardwalk (The Drifters) or Under the Sea (Disney) or Under the Moonlight (Grayson Kessenich) or Under the Stars (Morning Parade). I just gotta get out there Under the Sun (Michael Weatherly) to get from out of the sense I’m Under Attack (Abba).

Why the urgency? Up until now, I kept ahead of the daily #AprilA2Z prompt, but it finally caught up with me and now I’m feeling Under Pressure (Queen) to get my mojo juices working. U inspired me!

Now, forget understanding this little ditty because it’s simply a fun, catchy number and in my book that makes it a winner! U inspire me (like yoU always do) and this morning, I want to say…U is in yoU, which makes yoU, YOU.

What makes yoU, YOU? For me, it’s mUsic! Throughout this challenge, I shared with yoU my daily mUsic choice. This is my utopia!

The first group I thought of was U2. I was pleasantly surprised when in October 2014 Apple launched the global rock band’s Songs of Innocence (click the link to listen) newest album to 500 million iTunes users for free. How utterly insane is that? I loved it! There are a couple of good tracks (The Miracle is my fave) on this cut and I hope yoU listen to decide for yoUrself.

Now, let’s flashback (coz I can’t forget my Flashback Friday edition) wayback!

DH and I were dating. He was a senior and I was a freshman in high school. I vividly remember this song coming out and no doubt played at DH’s senior prom. Do yoU remember it?

O’Day described this tune as a Nocturnal Novelette. It was put out without fanfare in February 1977. Four months later, it was the #1 song in the country, and certified gold.

As A2Z unwinds, just know I’ll be keeping the mUsic alive on my blog three days a week and I hope yoU will continue to join me. Before you go, tell us, what song describes yoU (or your life) in a nutshell?

Follow this undercat, while I visit a few unusually creative bloggers taking part in this ultimate A2Z blogging challenge with me!

What does Henry the VIII, Leona, Ellie, and Katherine have in common?

Puritan's Pride Vitamins

They are all from Great Britain!

Welcome to week 182!

Spotlight dancer, Chronicles from the Man Cave from March 3rd had the privilege of submitting today’s  “British Invasion, and not just the Beatles” theme.

Here in the states, we have enjoyed music popular songs from artists across the pond for years. You’ll  be surprised to learn which singers or bands have UK roots. Whatever ear candy is getting your groove on, then we want to hear it right here on Monday’s Music Moves Me!

The first  British invasion band that comes to mind is a group my Uncle Roger listened to when I was young. I still hear him singing that funny song…

I’m Henry, the VIII, I am
Henry, the VIII, I am, I am
I got married to the widow next door
She’s been married seven times before

In 2006, this British singer/songwriter won the 3rd season X-Factor (UK). Presenting one of her most popular YouTube song presentations with nearly 77 million views….

The next British artist was introduced to me by a fellow 4M dancer with Lights. Last year, she earned her first UK #1 single and to-date received 191 million YouTube views with her popular hit song…

In 2012, the next gal danced into my life, literally on the popular TV series Dancing With The Stars. This artist is a classical-crossover singer, performing an array of operatic arias, pop songs, and hymns. Enjoy the rainbow of music with Katherine Jenkins…

These ladies may not fall in line with the original British Invasion, but that’s okay. That’s a wrap, folks! Did you have a good time on the dance floor? I did. Did you invite someone to join you on the dance floor today? Let’s keep the challenge spinning! Casually, invite at least one of your friends to commit to joining next Monday’s dance party. If we all do this and everyone shows, then we will bring the roof down!

What British artist/group moves you? Next stop… your place!

Be sure to come back next week to dance with the 4M crew, and if you can’t get enough music, then join me for Saturday Song-suasion!
