Foghorn Leghorn hasn’t the patience for that silly ole putty cat, Sylvester!
Hello, Kittens & dawgs! For the A2Z challenge, I sketched a Wylie E. Coyote & the RoadRunner illustration. I shared it a couple of weeks ago with you but I thought it would be fun to look at some funny Looney Tune inspired images.
*smack forehead* Warner Brothers oppressed Wylie E. Coyote all of these years. I knew that old coyote could catch that sneaky road runner even if he didn’t have the brains to do it.
There were a few kids who were short a few marbles, though.
I have two photos to share taken late March, the day after DH’s eye surgery. He had a follow-up appointment with his surgeon at his Maryville, Tennessee location and this is the view I had sitting in the car waiting for DH. It was a gorgeous day with a gentle breeze.
Being unprepared for this photo-op with my big girl at home, I managed to get some nice captures with my trusty iPhone 5s – the camera on-the-go!
Linky up with those crazy cats and dawgs over at the Skywatch Friday community and you’re welcome to come with for a globe-trotting, sky view experience!
Today, I Celebrate The Small Things with Lexa!
I’m celebrating… the good follow-ups DH is getting from his retina re-attachment surgery. At his last appointment, he learned his retina is completely attached. Yay! I’m celebrating… DS’s 23rd birthday this past Monday. It seems like yesterday he entered this world all 21″, 9 pounds 7 ounces of him! Whew, he was a big, big baby! DH and I follow literally in his shadows now. He’s 6’4″ and weighs more than 200 pounds. Big babies grow into big men. It’s funny how the roles reversed. 🙂 We’re proud of our boy! I’m celebrating… surviving last month’s A to Z Challenge. If you missed my posts Art Sketching Through the Alphabet, then I invite you to browse my archives.
What are you celebrating?
Let’s continue the fun with Friendly Fill-Ins with Annie and Ellen. Every Thursday four fun and easy blank statements are posted for us to borrow, complete, and share on our site. The point is to simply have fun linking, reading, and meeting others who enjoy this sort of thing.
Here’s my response to this week’s fill-ins:
(1) Cell phone vs landline.
(2) My most treasured piece of jewelry is my engagement and wedding rings.
(3) This year, I learned I can draw after years of thinking I didn’t have any or very little ability which I
proudly publicly displayed in last month’s A to Z Challenge.
(4) I would like to finish writing and illustrating my children’s book about my brother before this year is over.

Normally, I do not post on the weekend but I decided to share my A to Z reflections post tomorrow and you’re invited back. That’s a wrap for now but don’t forget to hit the dance floor (mewsic theme – “Singers/Mewsicians celebrating birthdays on this day”) with Mondays Mewsic Moves Me!
Until next time, have a laughtastic weekend!
